Wire to board terminal 005
When the printed circuit board in the system and electronic equipment receives transmits the output power of the signal, it needs to be connected with the outside of the substrate, such as Wire to board terminal. In many cases, there is a certain distance between the printed circuit board and the substrate which needs wires to connect. Long distance connection can be achieved by soldering wires to the substrate.
However, for the sake of functionality, multi pin wire to board connectors(eg. wire to board terminal) are usually used for connection.
The structure of the wire to board terminal is very simple: the electrode (contact) is placed in the shell (rubber shell). There are two types of contacts: rod or sheet "plug" and "socket". Squeeze the plug completely into the socket and "pair" it generally speaking, "the socket is connected to the wire" and "the plug is connected to the substrate", but this can be adjusted according to the usage. The connection of wire and contact is usually realized by "pressure bonding" technology, such as crimping terminal. Pressure welding can also be used to connect wires and contacts. Pressure welding technology is used for low current connection "to simply connect the insulated wire to the contact" to allow full connection. Although this method is convenient, its durability may be reduced. The above two technologies can avoid overheating caused by soldering technology and protect the wire to board terminal from damage. In addition, the "airtight connection area" can keep the connection stable because the wire to board terminal will protect the conection not be exposed to air.
